Wedding tiara's

Well I think I have found my favourite jewellery making, I got some books from the library and one was a wire work book and had lots of wedding jewellery so I thought I would give it a go and I love it, I did not have many small beads but used what I had to make these first ones as a bit of a test, I have ordered some swarovski bicone crystals to make some for selling as I only had swarovski rounds and these are not as sparkly, I cant believe the prices that are being charged for wedding jewellery, it is so expensive!! I also got some paper flowers and want to make some hair pins with them so need to search for some of these to buy, i managed to find some metal hair combs so looking forward to trying these too.

Its Prom preparation time

My daughter is 16 this year and will be having her school prom, it is getting so much more popular now, much better that the crappy school disco we had when we were at school! They will be going to a local hotel and having a sit down meal then disco, and have the great excuse to get a huge dress :-)

Her dress is obviously going to be the biggest pain ha ha, we both have different tastes so everything
I like she hates and vice versa! She has also changed her mind on what style so many times that I have lost track.

There is also the whole, 'she has got this, or she is doing this this' thing going on, and as per usual the mums are just as bad!

Then there is the spray tan, the hair style to do the list goes on, will keep you all updated on what dress she eventually chooses, feel free to recommend anywhere

Busy weekend

Well had a busy weekend making some long drop necklaces, love making these as they are the type of necklace you can wear everyday for work, listed them on ebay so fingers crossed they will sell so I can make more :-)

First week back to work

Well everyone is back to normal, although I have actually got the day off today, I could get used to 3 day weeks lol!!!

Got some new beads yesterday so going to make some new items this evening, if you click on my ebay items I listed the other day you will see my earrings for sale too :-)

I also received my earring display boards and my neck board for photographing my necklaces better.

Going to make some sock cupcakes too for ebay this weekend, just need to find some kind of suitable posting boxes, will put some photos on this weekend for you all to see.
