Buggy board on a phil and teds sport buggy

Not my usual posts but thought this might be a worthwhile thing for some mums and fellow child carers, I recently bought a new baby jogger city select and needed a buggy board, I had tried many site for their own brand and came across loads of problems with delivery of them from manufacturer, so I asked on a facebook group called pushchair trader, and they pointed me in the direction of the bumprider they were selling alongside a full review of the product, it came and has to be the quickest and easiest to fit buggy board I have ever used.

Now for the exciting bit, I upgraded my pram because I could not get a board to fit my P&T, so whilst with my friend we were chatting about the board and when looking at it thought it might fit the P%T, so we tried it and YES YES YES it fits, WITH the doubles kit on and a 3 year old on the back, the breke works fine if you lift the board up a bit before applying, the child had enough room to stand comfortably and he could hold onto the second seat or the side of the handles :)

You need the typical stance of pushing most buggies with a board attached, you know the one where your bum sticks out but it was pushable and still easy enough to manoeuvre, I am slightly gutted I have just forked out £650 for a new pram and then discovered this but hey hum at least it might help someone :)

A huge thankyou to Pushchair Trader for their quick posting and fab review of the product, it is a nice easy to use buggy board and fits the P&T :)

Mould making

I have really enjoyed making my moulds, I have even been selling them and have had some great feedback :)

I am finding sculpey accents or fimo classic is the easiest clay, the others can go too soft and hard to release without damaging the mould.

Sculp

ey have some lovely colours too :)

Fimo/polymer clay moulds

Decided to try and make some fimo moulds, and loved the final finish, really easy to use, I used a 2 part flex compound, it took a full tub until I had the technique off but now love making them :)

New supplies

I am eagerly awaiting some new supplies :) I will be making some scrabble rings and some DS stylus chains to stop them going missing :)

I have discovered a great iphone app called coolibah its a scrapbooking app, you can download it free and have a watermark on or its 59p and has loads of free pages all with matching elements, some you do need to buy but the free ones are just as good and will cover most colour schemes, they also have a facebook page, well worth trying and would be even better on the ipad.....hmm think I definitely need one of those :)

Busy week again making my jewellery

Well i have been making some more tiaras this week these ones are with genuine Swarovski crystals which are lovely . I also have my first jewellery fair this weekend at Burnside high school, I am doing it with a friend as it was a bit short notice and also for a bit moral support so looking forward to that, it starts at 1pm if anyone is close enough and fancies a nice day out, sounds like there will be lots of stuff going on.

I got some more items from Vista print yesterday, got a great banner and some lovely postcards with my details on, also got some childminding leaflets and a total bargain as they were all free and I only paid for postage!!

Wedding tiara's

Well I think I have found my favourite jewellery making, I got some books from the library and one was a wire work book and had lots of wedding jewellery so I thought I would give it a go and I love it, I did not have many small beads but used what I had to make these first ones as a bit of a test, I have ordered some swarovski bicone crystals to make some for selling as I only had swarovski rounds and these are not as sparkly, I cant believe the prices that are being charged for wedding jewellery, it is so expensive!! I also got some paper flowers and want to make some hair pins with them so need to search for some of these to buy, i managed to find some metal hair combs so looking forward to trying these too.

Please feel free to leave a comment on these, I need to work on my photos again, its driving me mad, they look fab in the flesh but I kill the sparkle with the camera
